In GGIS ATHA: Every child is important to us. We surround the children in a language rich environment with lots of attention, interaction and lots of things to see and do in their space which is essential to literacy development. Strong reading, writing and communication skills are the basis for all learning
Through play children can develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments. At GGIS ATHA: the educators encourage children’s learning and inquiry through interactions that aim to stretch their thinking to higher levels.
It helps to promote the development of social skills, Language skills and listening skills. Play increases child’s decision making ability and team work. Our children enjoy playing cricket, dodge ball, hide n seek, treasure hunt and many more games.
We believe that when children come into contact with nature, they reveal their strength. At GGIS ATHA: children explore many things with nature. They play with mud, collects twigs, dry leaves, stones; they smell the aroma of different leaves. They see how trees are green during rainy season and how they shred the skin during winter season. They see snails, different insects, birds around them.
We sensitize our children about compost pit, use of eco friendly things, best out of waste activities and many more. These way children are not just learning the letters and numbers but they are growing into a responsible and mature human being!

Children start getting introduced to a new world of learning once they cross the toddler age. It is the time when they are eager to explore their surroundings and experience new things. Yes, it is a new beginning for them…like the word अथ: (ATHA:), which means प्रारंभ, a new beginning!
A new beginning means taking the first steps to explore, to share ideas and feelings, to think, to ask questions, to break and create from one’s own imagination, to make new friends to play with, to sing and dance…in short, to be “me & myself”.
We, at GGIS ATHA:, believe in a joyful environment, where each child is offered a playful way of learning. We consider each child as unique and motivate them to participate in different activities.
